Work with Vivid Support

Support worker roles across Blacktown and the surrounding suburbs, with a nurse to ring when something is not right.

One council area, and clinical supervision that actually exists. If you have worked somewhere that rostered you across half of Sydney and left you to figure things out alone, this is the opposite of that.

What we are usually looking for

Support workers for in-home supports across the Blacktown LGA, and for the Glendenning home. Mornings and overnights are the shifts we need most. Experience with personal care is useful; experience with high intensity supports is valuable and we will train you if you have not done it.

What we offer

Shifts in a tight geographic area, so you are not spending your day driving. Pay under the SCHADS Award. Training and sign-off for high intensity supports from our clinical team. And someone clinical to ring when you are not sure, at the time you are not sure rather than at the next supervision.

What we ask

Turn up, on time, every time. Treat somebody's home as their home. Say something when you notice something. And tell us when you cannot make a shift as early as you know, because someone is waiting for you.

Requirements

NDIS Worker Screening Check. NDIS Worker Orientation Module. Current First Aid and CPR. Right to work in Australia. A licence and a car are close to essential here.

Questions

What do I need to work here?

An NDIS Worker Screening Check, the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, a current First Aid and CPR certificate, and the right to work in Australia. A driver's licence and your own car help a great deal in Western Sydney.

Do I need a qualification?

No. A Certificate III in Individual Support is useful but not essential, and we train the skills. What cannot be trained is reliability and the way you treat someone in their own home.

What shifts are available?

Mornings are the hardest to fill and the most needed, along with overnight shifts at the Glendenning home. Evenings and weekends come up regularly.

Will I be trained for high intensity supports?

Yes, if you want to be. Our clinical team trains and signs off workers for specific supports and specific participants. It is real training with a competency assessment, not a slide deck.

How do I apply?

Send your CV through the contact form or email it, and tell us which suburbs you can get to and which shifts suit.
