In-home care and support across Western Sydney

The everyday help that keeps a week running, in your own home rather than somewhere you have to travel to.

In-home support is the least dramatic thing we do and the thing that changes the most days. It is the shower in the morning, the meal that gets cooked, the load of washing, and the lift to the appointment that would otherwise be missed.

The NDIS calls it Assistance with Daily Life. In practice it is whatever a week needs to work, arranged around your routine rather than a roster that suits us.

What it covers

Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting. Meal preparation and support with eating. Medication prompting, and administration where a nurse has set it up. Household tasks: cleaning, laundry, changing the bed, the shop. Getting to appointments, work, study and the things you actually want to do. Overnight support, either sleepover or active, where the plan funds it.

The same faces

Continuity matters more in this service than in any other. Someone who has been in your home twenty times knows where things live, what you like, and what a bad day looks like for you. Someone new does not, and you spend the visit explaining yourself.

We roster for continuity. When a regular worker is away we tell you who is coming instead rather than sending a stranger and hoping.

Starting

Usually within a week of agreeing a schedule. We meet first, at your place, and go through what you want done and how you want it done. That conversation becomes the support plan the workers actually follow.

Questions

How many hours can I have?

As many as your plan funds. We can help you work out what the hours in your plan realistically buy, and flag early if the funding falls short of what you need.

Can I choose my support worker?

Yes. Tell us what you need and you meet the worker before they start. If the match is not right, say so and we change it. That is not a complaint, it is the service working.

Do you support overnight?

Yes, both sleepover and active overnight support, where the plan funds it.

What if I need to change a shift?

Tell us as early as you can and we will move it. Our cancellation terms follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements rather than anything we have invented.

Can supports start while I wait for a plan review?

Yes, if there is funding in the current plan. If there is not, we say so rather than starting supports that cannot be paid for.

Tell us the supports the plan funds and when they need to start. We respond the same business day.
