You will meet the people who will actually be in your home before anything starts. That is easier to promise when the team is this size, and it is one of the reasons to stay small.
Clinical leadership
Our clinical lead is a Registered Nurse. Clinical governance, worker training and sign-off for high intensity supports, and the assessments behind complex care sit with the clinical team.
Practically, it means there is always a clinician to call. Support workers are not left to decide on their own whether a wound looks worse or whether a change in someone's presentation matters.
Support workers
Every worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and has completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module. Beyond that, workers delivering high intensity supports are trained and signed off for the specific support and the specific person, by the Registered Nurse, before they deliver it unsupervised.
We recruit for temperament as much as for tickets. Most of the skills can be taught. Turning up on time, and treating someone's home as their home, cannot.

We are usually looking for good support workers in the Blacktown area, particularly people who can cover mornings and overnight. Current openings.
